Led by a management team steeped in the sector, our client proposes a ‘bullet-proof’ business model, underwritten by financial institutions and partnerships with Local Councils (LCs)/Housing Associations (HAs), to provide affordable housing and help meet the Government’s policy of delivering 300,000 new homes a year. 

Their back-to-back financing mechanism features key discounts for the rental income as an (unique) incentive to LCs and HAs; Banks and a government quango (Homes England) fund the development 100% and an end-buyer institution such as a Pension Fund takes a long-term lease or freehold interest, effectively paying off all the borrowings.
