We were engaged by this client in the autumn of 2007 with cash flow problems following a complete restructuring of the business earlier in the year. We were able to introduce the client to 3 potential investors. Although, in principle, terms were discussed with one of these, the directors, with our support, felt that the proposals would not be in their interest to pursue.

As an alternative to equity, and in order to introduce additional working capital to the business, we introduced them to Cattles Invoice Finance Ltd, who is now providing a factoring facility. This, together with new terms that have been negotiated with their main supplier, means that the company is now profitable producing positive cash flow.
