The directors approached us to find additional capital to support their business following considerable delays in the development of a new product. This delay had had a material impact on cash flow with the result there was a build up in debt and significant pressure for repayment.

We recommended that the directors propose a Company Voluntary Arrangement to the company’s creditors, and given the particular level of pressure, and a moratorium in support of the proposal. We assisted them with preparing the proposal and the documentation to support the moratorium, which has now been accepted by creditors. We have been also instructed to look for investment to progress the business further.
