Beer & Young were approached by the owner. He had recently acquired the shares in the company, but with significant liabilities which the business was unable to satisfy. The company had been trading from an Insolvent position and was being threatened with closure by both the principal bankers and the Crown. We made arrangements that resolved the position with the Crown, satisfied the bank and we introduced potential investors, though terms were ultimately not agreed.

Some months later, following further pressure from the bank, the director approached us for assistance. We were able to restructure the business in such a way that our client is now looking forward to a profitable future and positive cash position. Beer & Young have been engaged to advise him going forward on financial matters.
