BUSINESS TYPE:	BESPOKE SOFTWARE COMPANY

Our client came to us as a 13-yr old business operating in and around the Publishing Sector. The business provides bespoke software for data management and its publication. It has a small blue chip customer base with long term contracts, but suffered from an inability to grow, which resulted in cashflow problems. Several reasons can be determined for this issue; one of the key ones was the complex share structure that made it difficult to raise new equity and did not reward the key entrepreneur and Managing Director.

We sought funding but found terms difficult to negotiate. After a lengthy process we found an investor willing to participate and shortly after that were instrumental in identifying and helping negotiate our client’s first acquisition.
