This specialist finishing business had been established for over 50 years and was a significant local employer. They had suffered a period of trading administration and we were engaged to find additional investment shortly after the directors had raised funds to purchase the assets of the business. As well as introducing new capital to the business it was important for a ‘hands on’ approach from the investor to help restore credibility in the market place generally. This was achieved and the business now has a much stronger platform from which to further re-build.
